Visit of the Gandhi Smriti museum, home of the Birla family, where Mahatma Ghandi was assassinated in 1948. Late afternoon visit of the fascinating Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. After breakfast, visit Old Delhi with Jamma Masjid, the largest mosque in India, from where you can see the ramparts of the Red Fort (outside) and then visit the Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, a visit to the magnificent archaeological complex of the Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a visit to the Lotus Temple, a beautiful monument that represents the Bahai faith in India. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Breakfast. Transfer to Jaipur and on the way, optional lunch at an authentic maharajah’s palace. Arrival and check-in at the hotel in Jaipur. Free time for shopping in the Pink City, famous for its jewelry, textiles, handicrafts, carpets, etc. In the late afternoon, visit of a Hindu temple to attend the Aarti ceremony. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Jaipur with stop for photographing the facade of the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Excursion to the splendid Amber Fort with optional elephant ride up the hill to the fort. In the afternoon visit the Jantar Mantar, astronomical observatory and the Royal Palace (City Palace). Overnight in hotel in Jaipur.
Breakfast. Before arriving in Agra, stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century to commemorate the birth of the son of the Mughal emperor Akbar, the “ghost” city was inhabited for only twenty years and subsequently abandoned. Arrival, check-in and overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Breakfast. Visit Agra, the former capital of the Mughal Empire, with the magnificent Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Then return
to New Delhi. According to the departure, transfer directly to Indira Gandhi International Airport to board the international flight
back to your country. No overnight stay.
