You can apply for the E-Visa to travel to India through the official web page of the Indian Government: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html (beware of fraudulent sites that mimic the official page). However, you must apply for a visa in advance before travelling to India. The 30-day visa is a double entry visa, i.e. you can enter India twice during the validity period of your visa (maybe you want to visit a neighbouring country and then return to India). It is much cheaper than a traditional visa. Once you have obtained the e-visa, it is advisable to have a medical travel insurance to enter India. The tourist visa for Nepal is valid 15 days and can be obtained on arrival at the airport in Kathmandu. It costs USD 25, payable in US dollars or in euro, one photo is required.
